Like Santa

I felt like Santa yesterday. I delivered a bunch of books to different Hotesses in Mankato yesterday. It was exciting. I know how much the kids will love these books.

I am working on getting some bookings set for June. I have 1 scheduled right now. I am hoping to really fill the calendar. There are so many great specials right now for hostesses! They can earn a ton of free books.

Cottonwood Country Club

Tonight I am headed to the Cottonwood Country Club for a Dollar Diva's Night. It's quite a drive but I am excited to go. I'm looking forward to meeting a bunch of new ladies! Maybe several will be in need of a new Part/full time job!! Wouldn't that be great! I want to give this opportunity to everyone. I have been having so much fun.

Rivers and Mountains

Today Jacob and I got out our new book. The Usborne Internet-Linked Children's Encyclopedia. We just recently got this one and hadn't had a chance to look at it. We started out learning about Rivers and Mountains. We learned about how a River starts and what happens as additional streams combine with the river. We also learned about Waterfalls and Rapids, River mouths and banks. Jacob had a great time!

We saw some great pictures of mountain animals. It was fun to teach him about how big black bears get and what they eat. What a great time!! Click the black bear picture to read more!

FRIDAY.... GLORIOUS FRIDAY!

I am so glad it's Friday. It has been raining a lot in Southern Minnesota lately. The grass is so green! I love spring. Everything seems so new. New flowers, new summer sandals, new adventures.

I can't wait to sit down and look at the calendar for upcoming camping trips! We have so much fun going out and trying different campgrounds. We still revert back to our favorites though. The kids have such a good time camping. They come home tired and so dirty but great memories. We'll see if Amanda is a little more interested in camping this year. Last year it wasn't her "cup of tea".

What does spring mean to you?

What a busy week!!

I love being busy! What a feeling of accomplishment! Yesterday I actually got everything done on my to-do list. (and 3 loads of laundry!) I stayed up until 11:00 pm doing it all but it's all done! :)

Do you set high expectations for yourself? Personally, if I don't make lists I'd forget everything. What is on your list today? Mine? So far it's a pretty short list but I have a few things I need to add to it yet. I plan to accomplish everything on it.

I firmly believe lists are good. I am doing Weight Watchers and I write down everything I eat. It's great for accountability. Plus I love looking back and seeing what I accomplished. What a great feeling! I enjoy checking things off as I get them done. Try it today and see if it helps you!

Bookfair tonight

Tonight I am working at a bookfair at Covenant Luther Church in North Mankato. I'm so excited! It will be great to meet some new people and make new connections. This is a beautiful new church in North Mankato, MN. It was fun to drive by and watch the building progress. I know several members of this church and am hoping to see some familiar faces tonight. meet my Upline Tracey!

Today I'd like to introduce you to my friend (and upline) Tracey! She is fabulous! I think her and I could talk 3-4 times a day and never run out of things to talk about. I really value that. She has been a great help to get me going with my Usborne business!!
